De los creadores del Festival Internacional de Cine Depth of Field, del Festival de Cine Docs Without Borders y del Festival Internacional de Cine de Mujeres WRPN.tv (entre algunos otros exitosos festivales) y, bajo el paraguas de la Red WRPN.tv le traemos el Festival Internacional de Cine Hispano (HIFF).

From the creators of the Depth of Field International Film Festival, Docs Without Borders Film Festival, and the WRPN.tv Women's International Film Festival (among several other successful festivals) and, under the umbrella of the WRPN.tv Network, we bring you the Hispanic International Film Festival (HIFF).

Directrices de Presentación / Submission Guidelines

Requisitos:

Solo se necesita UNO de los siguientes:

• La película debe ser producida y/o dirigida por una persona de origen hispano
• La película debe tener un actor principal hispano y/o de reparto
• La película contiene un tema relacionado con cuestiones hispanas

Se pueden presentar películas producidas en un país no hispanohablante, siempre que se aplique UNA de las reglas descritas anteriormente.

Requirements:

Only ONE of the following is needed:

• Film must be produced and/or directed by a person of Hispanic origin
• Film must have one lead and/or supporting Hispanic actor
• Film contains a subject related to Hispanic issues

Films produced in a non-Spanish speaking country can be submitted, provided that ONE rule described above applies.

* HIFF se reserva el derecho de retirar una presentación "Best of" si no hay suficiente competencia en esa categoría.

* HIFF reserves the right to withdraw a "Best of" presentation if there is insufficient competition within any category.

No nos limitamos a pedirte que pagues una cuota y, si te rechazan, nos olvidamos de ti.

TODOS los que envíen una película a HIFF recibirán uno de estos dos beneficios:

• Su película es del calibre de competición y se convierte en Selección Oficial
• Recibirá una carta explicando exactamente qué impide que sea aceptada

Si puede hacer correcciones, vuelve a presentarla GRATIS - incluso la temporada siguiente si no tuvo tiempo suficiente.

We don't just ask you to pay a fee, then forget about you if rejected.

EVERYONE who submits to HIFF receives ONE OF TWO benefits:

• Your film is competition caliber and becomes an Official Selection
• You receive a letter outlining exactly what is keeping it from being accepted

If you can make corrections, resubmit for FREE - even the following season if you didn't have enough time.
